If your company has a shop window, warehouse or office (including one in your house), you probably have some security measures to protect your belongings. Set locks on the doors, maybe you have an alarm system, pasting and lock in your inventory.

You may also need locks on the drawer and workbooks. But what about your computer? What measures are all critical data stored there to protect you?

Terms such as your client list and contact information, financial data and master data, contracts, proposals and other legal documents. What graphics files for your marketing materials, backups of your site and photos for your product catalogs?

If your computer has crashed, stolen, or by a virus, what would happen to your business infected? Think for a moment and I think you will agree with me that disaster prevention is worth a few minutes of your time every day.

Here is a list of 10 things you do to protect your computer against viruses, worms, trojans, adware, spyware and other surprise guests have.

1. Install anti-virus program to automatically check for updates each time the computer set. Have they checked all the e-mail that you download.
